About Roof Restore Buddy

Roof Restore Buddy helps homeowners compare roofing quotes. The site launched in 2026. It is a matching and advertising service, not a roofing contractor.

Who runs this site

Jos Aguiar runs and edits Roof Restore Buddy. The site is published under that brand name. No separate legal entity is named here, and this page does not add a biography or professional credentials. A short biography is on the Jos Aguiar author page.

There is no published phone number. Email hello@roofrestorebuddy.com for corrections, privacy requests, and contractor questions.

What we do

You describe the roof and your ZIP code. We share that request with up to four independent roofing contractors who cover the area, and they contact you with quotes. You do not have to hire anyone. We do not visit the house, inspect the roof, or do the work.

How we make money

The service is free for homeowners. Contractors pay us when we send them a homeowner who asked for quotes. That payment is for the introduction. It does not buy a place on a “best roofers” list. We do not publish one. The full rules are on the editorial and advertising disclosure.

What “matched” does not mean

A contractor who wants leads can send a company name, service area, and license number. Collecting those details is not a background check, a warranty, or a rating. You still need to confirm the license with the state or city, ask the insurer for a current certificate, and compare written scopes. Start with how to check a roofer.

We do not show star ratings or review counts. Company names that appear on a city page are unpaid notes from public sources, last collected in August 2026, and they may be incomplete or out of date.

Cost figures

Prices on this site are planning ranges. How they are built, and what they are not, is explained in how we estimate roof costs.

Coverage

The quote form accepts ZIP codes across the United States. City guides are published only where we have local company research. Other city addresses point at the state page, which names the license agency and, where we have it, the city permit office.

Free · No obligation · All 50 states

Compare quotes, then check the license yourself

The match is free. Hiring still depends on the contractor’s license, insurance, and written scope.
