Roof Restore Buddy is a free matching service for homeowners and an advertising service for roofing contractors. This page says how the site makes money and what the words on a page do, and do not, mean.

How the site makes money
Homeowners do not pay us. When you send a quote request, we share it with independent roofing contractors who have asked to receive leads in that area. Those contractors pay us for that introduction. A contractor’s payment does not buy a higher position in a ranking, because we do not publish a ranking.
Some pages mention specific roofing companies. Those mentions are unpaid. A company cannot pay to be added, removed, or ordered above another company. Being named is not an endorsement, and it does not mean the company is in our matching network.
What we do not claim
- We do not publish star ratings, review counts, or “best roofer” rankings.
- We are not a roofing contractor, and we do not inspect or repair roofs.
- We do not guarantee a contractor’s license, insurance, workmanship, or price.
- Cost figures are budgeting estimates. They are not quotes. The formula and its limits are on the cost methodology page.
- Pages are written by Jos Aguiar, who runs and edits the site. The byline is not a professional credential.
Company mentions
On a few city pages we list established local roofing companies and the license number, year founded, or services we noted from the company’s own site or a state license record. Details were last collected in August 2026 and can be out of date. Check the license yourself with the state or city before you hire. If a figure could not be tied to a public source we can stand behind, it is not on the page.
Location pages
A city page stays in the search index only when it has its own company research. Other city addresses redirect to the state page, which carries the state license rule and the city permit note. A state cost page stays in the index only when it cites a statute, building code, or insurance regulator. Scaled copies of the national price table are not submitted in the sitemap.
Corrections
If a license number, permit rule, or other fact is wrong, email hello@roofrestorebuddy.com with the page address and the public source that shows the correction. We would rather delete a sentence than leave a number we cannot support.
